I bring color and reimagined life to vintage furniture.
I have always loved antiques. My carpenter Dad instilled this love in me by taking me to garage sales and flea markets starting when I was small. He worked with wood all the time and I LOVE the smell of freshly cut boards and sanded finishes to this day. My imagination was set free dreaming of the stories that were held inside each old piece.
I’ve also always loved colors! My “colorsession” started with the 120 pack of Crayola crayons in the 70’s, grew with the wild colors of the 80’s and continues with every new color trend today.
It wasn’t until a friend introduced me to chalk painting that my love of colors and antiques was joined in a way that could bring fresh life to beloved items. I was instantly hooked on the versatility of chalk paint and all the ways to create innovative designs with a variety of techniques and products that match my scope of imagination.
Out of this, Magpie & Rose Reimagined Furniture was born. Named after my two greatest treasures (my girls) and carried along with help from my hubby of 20+ years who is my biggest fan. Faith is a big part of who I am and I long to bring glory to my Creator with every piece. It would be an honor to create a one-of-a-kind piece for your home. Thank you for stopping by!
